Our Thanksgiving was so much fun!  We are grateful for another year close to family.  We spent Thanksgiving day with Ben's family at Grammy Lisa's house.  Little Alex loved his feast!

Claire wasn't so hot on it...

This picture makes me laugh. Aunt set him in the chair and for a split second (that I caught), Alex sat there looking at Nan. SO cute!

All the gang (minus Jon and Jaclyn):

Friday afternoon, some of my mom's side was in town so we got together for some pizza and games.  Brooke snapped this picture of us outside as the sun was setting. I love them!  We've got another future Kendell photographer!

Here we were last year.   Little did we know what was coming in just a few days. I continue to be amazed at the tender mercies that have followed my cousin Jared's passing. Jared lives and he is busy furthering the work.  I will always miss him, but am so grateful for the knowledge we have that we will be together forever as families.

My little man

He is growing up.  He is such a good baby. And man, is he cute or what.  I am loving the 6 hours he gives me at night. It makes all the difference and I actually have energy to exercise again (with Claire it took a lot longer since she never did more than 4 hours until she was 7 months old).

Here is month one:

Here is month two:

And here is Claire at 2 months and Alex.  It makes me laugh how serious he is.  He always has that look on his face and only smiles when we try really hard.

Here are some recent happenings according to my iPhone:
(7 weeks old)

We obviously need to work on saying, "fox"...

Loving these two little children of mine.  They are so much fun!

To catch up, a couple weeks ago, we went to Black Island Farms with our besties the Phipps. We did this last year with them, so it's become a fun tradition. This year was much warmer though!  It was also Janelle's 30th birthday, so we had to celebrate (we also went out to dinner at Kobe together).

Claire and Ben had a BALL.  They went down slide after slide. I don't know how they BOTH have as much energy as they do.

With Claire being a bit older, I was really excited for Halloween this year. She didn't want to be the chicken at our family Halloween party on Sunday:

But after some coaxing (and a sucker), she started to love it:

Cutest little piggy ever:

We started at my Grandma's house and stayed for quite a while. Claire had fun playing with Grandpa's cane and swinging with Grandma.

After Grandma J's, we met up with the Phipps again to go hit up some houses.  There were a lot of dark houses and we felt like not very many participated this year. Claire had a blast though, we just loved watching our little chicken walk up and get some candy.  It was a fun Halloween!
