Happenings

Lots has been happenin' here in Utah over the past couple weeks. We're actually dreading leaving on Friday. We wish we could just move back. Maybe soon:)

My mom, Ben, Claire and I went on the Salmon Run hike up by Causey Dam. It was super fun and definitely the most exercise I've had since pre-pregnancy. It was incredibly beautiful.

It was an hour hike in, and an hour out and we stayed catching fish for an hour. Claire was a champ!

Here she's caught in a sneeze:

She loves Grandma Kendell:

I can't believe she's 2 months old already!! We are loving every minute. She's the best baby.

She's so close to laughing! We know it's soon and can't wait. She's so smiley and content and always alert. And she is STRONG! We have friends and family who are amazed when they hold her. She loves to hold up her own neck and stand whenever she can. Ben does squat exercises with her every day and she's really getting strong legs.

We also love it when this happens:

I was in the middle of a photo shoot at a lady's house when this incident happened. Luckily too cause all I had to do was keep taking pics:

It's either cut her out of it or get it on her face. We chose to get it on her face.

So cute. And here she is. She looks like two completely different babies! Amazing how she's grown and changed. We love this little munchkin.

A Name and a Blessing

We wanted to bless Claire while we were here in Utah and yesterday was the only Sunday that would work with all of our family while here. It happened to be Stake Conference in our ward, so we decided to bless her from home. It was such a neat experience. We loved it! It was so much fun to have ALL of our family together in one place and participate in the blessing in a more intimate setting.

Claire looked so cute in her outfit (bracelet made by Grammy Lisa and slippers made by Ben's grandma Nan).

Thank you to all our family & friends who came to support us! We love you all!

Ben did such an amazing job on the blessing. It was really special and the Spirit was so strong. I am so thankful to have a strong priesthood holder like him to lead and guide our family.

We are so grateful that Claire has joined our family. She is the love of our lives.

Her peeps

Claire has been busy these last couple of weeks growing, changing, smiling, and meeting lots of new friends. She met her cousin Tyler first. He was a preemie, born at 25 weeks only 1 lb 10 oz (older post here). Now he's 8 months an 12 lbs! He's a fighter and Claire obviously loves him.

Random pic but we were all dressed in green one day and had to pose in front of Grammy Lisa's quilt:

She loves her Aunt Brooke.

She also met my college bud Sarah's little girl who was born exactly one week before Claire:

Ben and I were able to spend a week up at Park City over Labor Day and had a blast. It was so much fun! We had family and some friends come visit us up there and loved the little get-away.

Cousin Tyler again:

Buddy Karsyn (Brandon & Karley Radmall's girl--4 months old):

I could snuggle her all day.

She is getting so big and strong! She's 7 weeks old and loves to stand and use her neck. She's smiling all the time and rarely cries (only when she's famished). She's loving exploring the sounds she can make and has started making bubbles and drooling. We love that her hair is falling/rubbing out and adore the v-shaped dimple on her hairline she gets:

We are just crazy about this girl.

In other news, check out the bridals I did while up in Park City. They rock.

Claire is getting blessed tomorrow and we're so excited that all our family can be there. We love being home!
